Twinferno Deluxe Class Figure (Titans Return)

Twinferno began toy-life as the much lamer named Doublecross a Monsterbot from 1987. This figure updates the articulation and transformation scheme (like most Generations figures) and gets a more badass (and trademark-able) name. I must say that I love the whole "monster heads-as-hands" schtick even if it means he looks kind of silly holding his blasters. Luckily they thought of that too and his guns plug nicely onto his shoulders. The only bit of articulation that I feel is missing on this dude is a swivel at the base of his monster heads/wrists which would allow for better arm poses. The legs are a little wonky when transforming into beast mode but not abysmal. A fun design where the heroic Autobot robot mode clashes with the fierce two-headed dragon mode. (But in a good way!)

(Titan Master)(Robot Mode)(Beast Mode)

Daburu Titan Master

One of the best Titan Master faces by far!
Inspired by an obscure Japanese only character

Robot Mode

Gives new meaning to the phrase "Talks with his hands"

Not exactly a gun show, almost a puppet show.

"Bring it!"

Shoulder guns!

"Just sittin' in my gun chair."

Beast Mode

Two heads are better than one?

The little buzzsaw was part of a gimmick on the G1 figure that caused sparks to shoot out of his chest.

This lower section is the weakest part of Twinferno's design.

Chest cockpit, giant mecha-style.

Problem is you have to partly transform the legs to open the cockpit in beast mode.

"Yee-haw!"

The blasters plug nicely into the back.
