Batroc the Leaper (Marvel Legends)

Georges Batroc is an expert in the French martial art of Savate and uses those skills as a mercenary who often runs afoul of Captain America. But recently was a member of the cast of "The Unbelievable Gwenpool" written by Christopher Hastings of Dr. McNinja fame. That was a great comic, well worth reading.

At any rate, Batroc is great because he has a silly moustache and a ridiculous purple costume. Two things that are A+ in my books.

Megatron (Transformers Beast Wars)

No not the purple T-Rex one, the alligator Megatron. This figure was released as part of a 2-pack with the Bat Optimus Primal that my mom bought for me from Zellers in 1996. I feel like this was even before I saw the show (which was called "Beasties" on Canadian TV for reasons). This makes Megatron one of the oldest Transformers I still have from my youth. I still have Optimus Primal somewhere but I'll have to dig him out another time.

Thunderbird 3 (TakaraTomy Tomica)

Thunderbird 3 ready for launch! Alan Tracy always kind of annoyed me, I'm not sure why. On paper I should've liked the Thunderbird that went into space more than I did. I think this design more than any of the others belies the 1960's origins of the series. It's slightly reminiscent of the rocketship that took Tintin to the moon.

I love that this looks just like the title card from the TV series.

Grand Admiral Thrawn Star Wars 3.75"

Grand Admiral Thrawn is a sneaky Imperial officer who is tasked by Darth Vader to crush the rebellion on Lothal at the beginning of season 3 of Star Wars: Rebels.  This marked his first appearance on screen as the character of Thrawn originated in the Star Wars Extended Universe (I think in some novels in the early '90s). He's a fan favourite though I had no real knowledge of him before seeing him on Rebels. He's deceitful, manipulative, and a great replacement for the Grand Inquisitor in terms of villainy despite not taking as active a role in fighting our heroes.
