The Astonishing Ant-Man (Marvel Legends Series)

To wrap up Ant-Man Family week I figured I'd end with the most familial characters. Marvel Legends has released a Toys'r'us exclusive two pack of Scott Lang in his modern costume with his daughter Cassie in her MC2 Stinger costume.

At the beginning of this week I mentioned how I liked this Ant-Man costume a lot and this figure does it more justice than the smaller Avengers dude. The details are a bit sharper and there's just more paint. Plus the articulation is significantly better, though it's nice to have a shrinking guy in different scales. Makes for some fun photos. Come back later today (like in 2 hours) for Stinger!

Hm. Looks more like Ant-Teen and Ant-Man.
Not quite the size difference I'd imagined at first.

"Who's a good ant?!"

Giant-Man & Ant-Man
In the recent Ant-Man series Scott is given the Giant-Man suit after Hank dies or merges with Ultron or something?

In turn he gives it to Raz Malhotra, an AI scientist he feels deserves a second chance.

Ant-Man & the Wasp! But not quite the ones in the movie.

Two Ant-Men & a Wasp.

Nearly the entire fambly.

  1. You know, looking over at these older figures and the older costumes, I kinda wish they had outfitted Paul Rudd with the new suit, but the older style helmet. It seems his comedic tilt would've been even better if you could see the lower half of his face. Cool 2-pack!

    1. Yeah seeing part of his face would've been cool. I think one reason they didn't go that way was then they'd have to deal with "how does he breathe in the Quantum Realm?"
