GinGin (HL Pro Metaltech)

A little late! But I'm back. Not sure if the schedule will be reliably weekly due to "circumstances" but I'll do my best!

GinGin is the saucer beast who appeared in episode 7 of the UFO Robo Grendizer anime. He is a great design for a monster-of-the-week character and you can see why he gets a release early on.

Villain figures tend to be more rare in toylines, even those catering to a collector's market. I hope to get a hold of more of Metaltech's Grendizer offerings but these guys do not come cheap.

The hefty die cast metal construction explains the hefty price tag.

Robot Form

I really like this head. It's very much like an evil version of Grendizer.

This figure is definitely mostly Grendizer with a new colour scheme.

This is the true form of GinGin, he pops out of the saucer and now has buzzsaw forearms.

Whirr! or is that WHIZZ?

I guess it should really be "bzzzz"

TFO (Terrestrial Flying Object)

The "TFO" craft is what Koji Kabuto (former pilot of Mazinger Z) tools around in.

Very classic Japanese-style flying saucer with decent detailing on a small dude.
