As mentioned we're working our way through the latest haul from David's Tea. I don't drink much caffeinated tea because it keeps me up nights but this was a middle of the afternoon emergency.
Hot Chocolate Pu'erh takes pu'erh tea, black tea, cocoa nibs, and chocolate chips to make a smooth velvety tea that is very like a nice mug of cocoa. The bitter tea flavours are perfectly balanced with the sweet of the chocolate. A splash of milk and you've got perfection.
This offering from David's Tea isn't the flashiest or most unusual but it is a solid flavour that delivers great taste exactly as advertised.
