Voltron Legendary Green Lion

Third to be rediscovered was the Green Lion, the Guardian Spirit of the Forest. The Green Lion is piloted by my favourite character Pidge Gunderson. Pidge is the smart one but has a tragic backstory and is hiding a secret for the first few episodes. Pidge is great. The Green Lion comes with a vine beam, Voltron's shield, half of Voltron's sword (which we'll see another day).



Lion Mode

All the mouths have the same inner detailing but this mouth opens widest.

The mouth doesn't close all the way because it needs to be able to hold the sword

Vine Beam

Pidge discovers a version of this weapon after establishing more of connection to nature...

...a feat in itself based on this quote: "Why doesn't anyone ever send a distress signal come from a cool place? I hate the outdoors! Nothing but sunburn and poison oak."

Which more or less sums up Mrs. ISMOTU's view of outside and further cemented Pidge's status as a favourite with her.
